The focus value is a simulation of an EEG-derived estimate. It shapes light and sound only and never changes the puzzle. Keyboard: arrow keys move, Space or Enter turns.

Spaceways

A number briefly lights up over each planet, showing the order you'll need to reach them in. Then the numbers vanish, and you route the energy from memory — against a clock this time, since holding the order in mind while staying focused on the routing is the whole point. Reach a planet before its turn and it waits, dim, until the right moment catches up to it — that's a recall slip, tracked, not a failure. There's a real time limit here, unlike the calmer levels before this one.

First we take a short calm baseline, then your steadiness sets a personal line. Staying above it brightens the void and quickens the energy. The focus signal is simulated here for testing; in the product it comes from an EEG headband and never touches the puzzle itself.

What's new for L5 (working memory under load), on top of the shared engine: this is the only level with a real time limit, on purpose — the source material is explicit that this mode stacks holding information on top of staying focused, closer to an n-back or span task than the calmer levels before it. Each puzzle briefly reveals a memorization order over its planets, then hides it; reaching a planet ahead of its turn doesn't fail the puzzle, it just waits, dimmed, until the correct order catches up — recall accuracy is tracked as a real signal (a slip is logged once per planet, not once per frame), not a hard gate. Boards here run noticeably larger than the other levels, reflecting the report's own note that this mode carries the heaviest load of the five (turn counts near 59, versus roughly 10 elsewhere). Correction, calm time, the focus signal as a secondary layer, and keyboard play all carry over from the shared engine unchanged.
