The Dig
Uncover a find, give a hard feeling a name, and keep it in your Field Notebook.

Features
- A layered excavation with a brush, trowel, and spade
- Eight authored archaeological finds, each with a meaning to reflect on
- Choose up to three finds and compare what feels heaviest today
- An editable Field Notebook saved in this browser
- No score, no timer, and no failed result
How it works
Choose a tool and uncover the layers of a trench. As the ground hardens, switch from the brush to the trowel or spade. Lift a find, read its meaning, and take up to three to the table. Compare what feels heaviest, then catalogue the result with a note you can return to in your Field Notebook.
- Naming a feeling is designed to support reflection and affect labeling
- Comparing the finds gives structure to what feels difficult today
- Keeping a personal note supports noticing patterns over time
