The Specimen
Bring one good day back in detail, then rebuild its memory plate from the pieces.
Features
- Three prompts: place and time, who was there, and one remembered detail
- Your memory stays in your own words
- A procedural carved plate seeded by the details you supply
- Three reconstruction layers with 4, 9, and 16 fragments
- An untimed memory entry saved in your Field Notebook
How it works
Describe one specific good moment through three short questions. The browser keeps your words and creates a carved plate from the details. Swap its fragments into place across three reconstruction layers, then keep the memory and plate in your Field Notebook. The local demo uses the source app's built-in prompts and procedural artwork.
- Reaching for a specific event is designed to engage autobiographical memory
- Describing people, place, and sensory detail exercises memory specificity
- Reassembling the plate engages visual memory and spatial organization
